Oahu Catamarans, Honolulu

Our experience with this excursion was utterly disappointing. Despite our timely arrival, which coincided with the scheduled start time of 3 pm, we encountered unnecessary hostility and unprofessionalism from the captain. Initially, when I reached out to clarify our situation due to a slight navigation hiccup with Google Maps, the captain abruptly informed us that we had missed the excursion and promptly terminated the call. Upon further inquiry with the office, we were assured that we had not missed the activity. Upon arrival, we observed that preparations for the excursion were still underway, with floating devices being distributed to other passengers. Despite this, the captain proceeded to berate me for perceived lateness and for attempting to contact him, disregarding the fact that we were within the designated time frame. Furthermore, we were left to fend for ourselves in acquiring floating devices, a basic necessity for the activity. Throughout the excursion, the captain's demeanor remained abrasive and disrespectful. He deliberately maneuvered the boat into waves, dousing my children and me with cold water, and exhibited rude behavior towards other vessels in the vicinity. Additionally, his actions towards snorkelers who had unintentionally drifted away from the group were alarming, as he intentionally drove the boat towards them, causing distress. This reckless behavior was not only unbecoming but also posed a potential safety hazard. In light of these experiences, I cannot in good conscience recommend this excursion to others. With numerous other companies offering similar snorkeling experiences in Oahu, I strongly advise seeking alternative options to ensure a more enjoyable and respectful outing.

May not be the prettiest boat in the fleet but don't let that turn you away. Capt Krash is very professional and makes sure you have a safe and enjoyable experience, he has a great sense of humor and always has your safety in mind yet goes out of his way to give you the best experience you can have. Then there's Sushi, the dolphin/turtle/whale spotting hound. Our girl is always the highlight of the trip and we always look forward to seeing her and spoiling her with snacks. This was our 4th trip with Oahu Catamarans and I'm sure not the last. Mahalo Krash and Sushi.

A super fun experience The Captain and his crew were very nice and took pictures & video and didn’t charge us extra for them. We saw a turtle right away when we arrived at the snorkelling area and more as we swam around the Spot.. but it is a spot where all the other boats go to as well, so it did get crowded in the water. The Boat ride is fun and you get beautiful views of Waikiki & Diamond Head. And if you have questions about the marine life, they have answers. Definitely put this on your to do list.. ALOHA

Great snorkel experience. The captain and Carlos were awesome!! Definitely recommend.
