Giving equal attention to dinner and dessert, the chefs at Nom Noms Mexican Grill-N-Chill split their time between cooking homestyle Mexican dishes and making fresh ice cream from scratch. The selection of ice cream, sherbet, sorbet, and ice cream bars typically features more than 50 different flavors, including classics—such as vanilla and rocky road—as well as more creative options made with avocado or strawberries and jalapeños. These frosty treats only represent half of the menu though. To help keep appetites sated, the chefs also show a similar level of attentive care when hand-building burritos, tortas, and quesadillas to order. Customers can build their order one ingredient at a time, adding savory carne asada steak or chorizo before finishing the creation with doses of lettuce, onion, freshly chopped cilantro, cheese, and one of the homemade salsas, which range from sweet to spicy.
