2016 Holiday Tea Extravaganza, Houston

From the description I was expecting a small lunch with a lot of tea and pastries. I was disappointed when they told us the day of that we will only get 6 small bites of food and pastries. The small bites were great, just not enough food for a meal. There was plenty of great tea though!

The "high-tea" was horrific. I purchased two tickets, for my daughter and I. We left early after 2-hours of waiting. The "tea" was amazingly disorganized and did not resemble any high-tea I have ever attended. A complete waste of money.

I honestly cannot give a tip to any possible future attendees of this type of event. However, I would say that one should proceed with caution with this event, as it was not what was promised. I can honestly say that my fantasy of what my first afternoon tea experience would be like was ruined. It was not what was promised on this website, nor on eventbrite.
