Afro-Latin Dance Festival, Houston

Founded by Panamanian-Jamaican artist Raul Orlando Edwards, Strictly Street Salsa is Houston’s 1st official salsa dance studio and will be celebrating its 25th Anniversary in January 2023; with easy to follow and fun classes and programs, becoming synonymous with its name. In addition to salsa, it is also the first studio to include Afro Latin movement as an integral part of the curriculum, which was the foundation for establishing the Afro Latin Fest in 2014. It also has the city’s longest running Rueda de Casino program. As the name would imply, ‘Strictly Street Salsa’ is committed to teaching participants how to dance the way Latin people dance in Latin countries: sensuously, smoothly, and with soul - ‘Sabor’!
