About Delta H Con
A convention devoted to the worlds of gaming and anime, Delta H Con brings no small amount of color and energy to Houston over the course of three festive days. In addition to seeing some top-notch costumes, you can expect a fan-friendly gathering full of events that cater to many interests. Read on to learn more:
- In the flesh: Expect to see J-pop stars, a fashion show that showcases the Lolita subculture, and voice actors from Sailor Moon and various movies, shows, and games.
- Panels: Sit in on panel discussions that feature such topics as the 25th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog, how to get started as a YouTube personality, and an introduction to the ocarina, a wind instrument popularized by The Legend of Zelda.
- Everything else: Compete for victory at cosplay contests and video-game tournaments, then socialize with fellow fans at a formal dance.

Was a great time and the groupon made it worth it. If it was full price I’m not so sure. But I’ll always support this con. Thanks for the coupon.

This year, it seemed really disorganized, more than could have been attributed to the flooding that occurred 2 days before. I was disappointed in the vendor turnout. Many of the regular ones were missing and many of the vendors were selling the same thing. Tbe panels we attended were interesting, but the con was missing the diversity of panel subjects it has had in the past. The venue was still great, though
