I paid for the one hour, essential oil deep tissue hot stone massage. I requested a male therapist, because I definitely wanted deep tissue. The therapist barely did a medium pressure, there was no essential oil, there was no hot stone. It was mostly rough compression work, not relaxing at all. The therapist answered his phone twice during my massage having a conversation with someone. Absolutely unacceptable. After the massage I approach the front Desk and asked for a reason why I did not receive what I paid for in the Groupon. She kept going in circles saying that he already did the massage and can you please tip him. I asked for a complementary massage, one that I actually paid for with the hot stones. She laughed at me and demanded that I tip him. They took the form of payment from the voucher before the massage even started, so I had no choice in the matter. Extremely disappointed. As a massage therapist myself, I would never treat a client like this.
