Bayou Shuttle Service, Houston

I have many complaints about Bayou Shuttle Service. First, it was incredibly difficult to even book my tour. I called multiple times and received incorrect information. Then, after I called groupon because I was having such difficulty booking, When I finally was able to to book (after a call to groupon about a refund), the person told me that of the two tours that were supposed to be available through my groupon -- I could only book one of them. When we finally did go on our tour, the guides left us sitting in the water for 20 minutes before starting, the guides offered little info or tour, and then the tour was over an hour short. Will never give Bayou Shuttle Service my business again.

It has been very difficult to redeem my groupon with Bayou Shuttle Service. The groupon reservation section of the website was not clearly marked so I had to call for assistance. When I tried to reserve a trip, it turns out the two I wanted were not covered under the groupon if it was a Saturday. But those trips were only offered on Saturdays! Half of the kayaking routes were not offered during the months the groupon was valid 'due to construction.' January was the last month I could book a tour and Bayou Shuttle did not post the January dates and schedule until Monday, Jan 13th. Luckily there was ONE DAY that WAS covered by the groupon. Never buying again. Not worth the headache.

I never got to use my Groupon because after making multiple attempts, via phone and web scheduling, they never called me back to arrange a date. I lost money and therefore faith in the services.

Our guide had zero personality. There was no narrative whatsoever about our trip. We felt like we were in a race to get to the end, just ducklings following the mother. And at the end no one asked us how we liked the tour. We could have done this on our own.
