Mellow Mushroom was founded in Atlanta, Georgia back in 1974. Born out of the free-wheelin' hippy culture of the seventies the idea behind the business remains unchanged - to create delicious, craveable pizza, calzones, salads, wings, and hoagies. Besides delicious food the Mellow Mushroom offers a welcoming, warm, art-filled, and family-friendly atmosphere.

As a locally owned and operated business they contribute to the local community with great customer service and high-quality food. Mellow Mushroom's chefs bake pizzas and calzones in stone hearths using dough made with natural spring water. Though many of the restaurant's dishes have been on the menu since its inception, chefs frequently devise new, often gluten-free dishes to keep things fresh and interesting.
