About Tamales Dona Tere

Since 1997, husband-and-wife team Pedro and Modesta Gonzalez have been crafting a diverse menu of Mexican mainstays. Their recipes come courtesy of Pedro's mother, Teresa. Using fresh ingredients and Ms. Teresa's authentic cooking techniques they hand craft plates of tacos, flautas, and, of course, toothsome tamales.

The tamales were dry and didn’t have any flavor. The barbacoa didn’t have any salt. I’m not going back again.
