Noted golf course architect Roy Case had just one thing in mind when designing Wildcat Golf Course: replicating the windswept seaside splendor of Scotland's famed links courses. He succeeded: on both the Highlands and Lakes courses here, golfers will spend much of their days near the ever-present water. However, these seemingly placid pools aren't the only challenges; each championship level course boasts steep elevation changes and deceptive approaches, whose challenge is only increased by the courses' distracting (and breathtaking) views of downtown Houston.
