Woodhall Wine Cellars, Parkton

Maryland may not be known for its wines, but Woodhall Wine Cellars hopes to change that with its full range of table wines crafted primarily from Maryland-grown grapes. The winemakers create dry, sweet, and dessert offerings, making sure to ferment the wines in small lots. This allows the winemakers to keep the fruit from each vineyard separate and improves the quality of the wine.

At Woodhall's freshly renovated property, visitors sip mid-priced premium select wines and rich, complex signature varietals while relaxing in the Gunpowder Room. This rustic structure is carved from the remnants of a late-1800s carriage building. When the weather is warm, guests can escort their glasses to a seasonal deck that overlooks lush pastoral views.
