The value of having the pictures preserved was worth it to me. I appreciated being able to put it on a usb as opposed to a CD for a small fee ($15). I dropped one star bc there were multiple delays, four months. The quality is a little darker and not as sharp as original but worth it to me having a backup in case anything happens to the originals. I also felt they took good care of the pics
