My husband's smoked prime rib was very good! My meal however was below par. I had very dry beans and rice, very hot with no flavor etouffee and the thinnest piece of catfish know to man. However, I liked the atmosphere and would like to find something to my liking on the menu. My daughter lived in New Orleans so I know what the dishes should be like-New Orleans has the best food ever!!

The food is totally awesome. A must to try is their seafood dip, there's nothing quite like it, it is so good.

The tenderloin is big enough to share and too much for one. They need to ask if you want the side of coleslaw that they serve with the sandwiches as too many people don't eat it and it gets wasted. I ate mine but the other 3 folks I was dining with did not eat theirs.....we just can't afford to be that wasteful.

The seafood dip you can get as an appetizer is awesome! We sat next to the bar and it could get a little boisterous so if that is something that you feel may bother you during your meal you may want to sit upstairs. We were good with it and felt like a part of the atmosphere. Service is fantastic!

From Our Editors

Nestled on the corner of West Vermont Street and Indiana Avenue, Bourbon Street Distillery beckons Louisiana enthusiasts with its French Quarter-inspired exterior and authentic Cajun cuisine, such as shrimp po' boys and crawfish pasta. During colder days, guests can dine within the restaurant's brick walls while bathing in the light of far-reaching windows and a flat-screen TV.
