About Art Smart Academy

Art Smart Academy After-School & Community Arts Center provides walk-in pottery painting with over 750 designs of bisque and over 100 colors to choose from. Staffers help children of all ages, including those with fully formed mustaches, exercise their creativity. They guide visitors through open pottery-painting sessions, themed painting parties, and adults-only painting workshops between the studio's bright lavender and sunburst yellow walls—often educating visitors in new artistic styles and terminology. The creative staffers also travel outside the studio as part of a mobile art-education program, and bring ample art supplies to outdoor painting parties. They also have a new Full-Time After-School Program with pick up from all local schools.

I've always had a good time, but some times the classes are more formal and some times the classes have been more relaxed For someone who is a first timer, the more relaxed classes can be a bit off putting because you might not know what you are doing or where to go to find supplies (or to know that you need supplies) I wish they were more consistent with setup I still have enjoyed what I have done and I will go back again
