You purchased and received 40 units of Botox, with 20 units administered to the forehead and 20 units to the glabellar (between-the-brows) area. Prior to treatment, our provider clearly explained that 40 units is not sufficient to fully “freeze” the entire upper face, especially the forehead, which involves larger muscle groups and typically requires a higher dosage to achieve minimal movement. Additionally, Botox does not take effect immediately. Initial results generally appear within 3–7 days, with full results developing over 10–14 days. Experiencing normal muscle movement shortly after treatment is expected. It is also important to note that individual response to Botox varies. Clients who have received Botox regularly over long periods may experience reduced effectiveness due to biological tolerance, which is a well-documented medical phenomenon and not related to product quality. During your visit, our provider offered professional recommendations regarding dosage based on your goals. You chose not to increase the number of units, and we fully respected that decision.
