Labrador Hill Farm, Waterford

Labrador Hill Sanctuary's executive director, Sarah Rabinowitz Mognoni, is a lover of horses, but she was dissatisfied with what she'd seen at traditional riding stables. That's why she founded Labrador Hill, a 501c3 non-profit devoted to providing land, training, rehabilitation, and long-term care to equines. At the sanctuary, she and the staff house and care for 52 horses, donkeys, ponies, and mules, the largest herd in South Jersey. When the staff members aren't caring for the animals, they're leading riding and horsemanship lessons and equine-assisted therapy sessions. The horsemanship and riding program is designed for students of all ages and skill levels, including students with special needs.
