"Interview" your tour guide and try to determine if your personalities "click." Ours seemed to be new to the history of Jacksonville and vague in answering some of the group members' questions.
Since one of our group had already been in the tunnel, it was disappointing that we did not walk the entire length of the tunnel - it's much more impressive when you end up somewhere unexpected at the other end. :) Also, if your guide does not wait until the entire group congregates prior to beginning their informative narrative, speak up. Some missed information.
All in all the tour covers some interesting points of interest, and it followed a good route. Locals and out-of-towners alike will learn a lot and will (should) be encouraged by the points of interest to learn more about our City.
