Friend new to Jacksonville and I went on the Mandarin tour. The most surprising thing about our tour is that our guide knew the owners of the places that we visited: an old house, a small orange grove, a sustainably landscaped property. I really felt that I got to know the area and the locals--there was a nice intimacy to the tour. Our guide was also very knowledgeable about the area, and I appreciated her talk on the importance of natural resource conservation (although the slightly alarmist tone could annoy some people--a more matter of fact tone would be more palatable). We got a prefilled water bottle to keep at the beginning and a clifbar towards the middle. Overall was pleased!

Great way for visitor to gain knowledge and facts about the city. Comfortable, enjoyable pace. I would recommend.

From Our Editors

High-profile destinations often cite their high ratings on TripAdvisor, which named e2ride bike tours Jacksonville?s No. 1 attraction. In this case, that ranking also speaks to the beauty of the city itself. On the company's easy-going bike tours, visitors hop on the back of Trek 7200 bicycles, pedaling their way on breezy adventures through some of Jacksonville's most scenic neighborhoods. These include Olde-Mandarin, where magnolia trees and orange groves cast dappled shadows on stately architecture. Other tours take riders through some of Jacksonville's coziest neighborhoods; on rides through Springfield, riders traverse quiet streets and quaint commercial areas that members of the tight-knit community call home.
