I went to look for mums this fall and there weren't ANY! The selection was the worst I've ever seen at any nursery.
Every time I go there no one is around to help with questions. I've left on two seperate occasions because I couldn't find anyone!
Very patient with the novice. Helped me pick out some very nice perennials staying in my price range.
Went in to find certain flowers for around the house. Different amounts of shade and sun were important and I needed to know which would be best.
They were very knowledgeable about their products and willing to help.
We went there On a sunday they were closed ..we picked out a dwarf bush we wanted, came back another time on a saturday at 4 and they were closing , we told them we already knew what we wanted , they could have sold it to us, but made us come back a third time ( we think for a new customer they would have let us purchase it even though they were closing). Not exactly close to our home and it was saturday fairly early and would have liked to plant it since closed on sunday , Came back third time and bought the bush and guy was very pleasant that waited on us. Only reason we didn't give 5 stars is we felt could have sold it to us 2nd time when we told them we knew what wanted. Be aware the hours open are short for the the average working person.
Great staff, very helpful.
Very helpful, nice array of perennial s
We were able to get a beautiful Rose of Sharon. It continues to be a delightful part of our landscape project!
From Our Editors
In 1966, Jack Miller founded a nursery. Originally, it was dedicated to landscaping work, but it slowly evolved. Now, several shade houses occupy the land, and a bustling collection of quality northern-grown trees, shrubs, and perennials sprawls over 8 acres in the nursery. Experienced and helpful staff assist with any landscaping need.
