Baci Bistro, Kailua

Super busy on Valentine's Day evening but we had good service. Delicious food!! Best to let them know if you want to sit outside so you can sit where you want.

Wonderful food with great service.

Horrible service I followed every fine print requirement listed, including the after 8PM dinner reservation and had my reservation confirmed by phone that I would be using a Groupon Instead, upon presenting my Groupon to the waitress Pat, was informed rudely that we could not use it for dinner that night Pat was loud and adamant saying that she works weekends and knows that we could not use it I questioned it again and after the 3rd try she finally called over the Manager Immediately she informed the waitress that it was FINE TO USE The waitress did not apologize at all at first, saying "Well it's up to the Manager" I was very upset and she finally came over to say, "I'm sorry" and then added, "What do you want me to do about it?" She treated us unpleasantly the entire time You'd think we were Groupon Dirt but we were dressed very nicely, are locals and kept to ourselves the entire dinner, so this treatment was entirely unjustified For example, We ate the 3 tiny pieces of what tasted like old, cold bread and when Pat asked if we wanted more, we said "yes" Then she tried to talk us out of having more bread saying, "Well I don't know if you want any more since your dinner's are going to be out soon" It wasn't until 15-20 minutes later that we were served our entrees I won't even go into what the waitress did when ordering dessert All this was a nightmare for what should have been a lovely Italian dinner (my husband's favorite food) This waitress was unbelievably RUDE and CONDESCENDING

Ask for Pat She's very enthusiastic Had the Caesar salad Very creamy and garlicy Did not enjoy the butternut squash soup Sauce for spaghetti tutti mari was a little too thin Veal was a little tough
