About Hang Loose Boat Tours

Just as the sun dips below the horizon, you slip below the waves on a large raft with built-in lights. In the darkness of the sea, a manta ray's 20-foot wingspan blots out the moon. Then another and another swim overhead. The memory of this magical night will stay with you for the rest of your life. Hang Loose Boat Tours make moments like this possible. Aside from their popular sunset manta snorkeling tour, the company also takes visitors whale watching, swimming with dolphins, and on custom charters. These make a trip to the Big Island a magical and memorable experience for all.

My family of 4 just took this tour and we all had a blast. Not only was it better then we expected but the memories will last a lifetime. The crew was very helpful and even took my daughter out on a tow noodle so she could see the Dolphins !

Capt. Tim runs one of the best outfits I've ever encountered! His story telling is enthralling, and he even serenaded us with his violin. He found the perfect spots for swimming with dolphins, snorkeling and later that evening for sunset cruising.. Topped off with a wonderful experience with manta rays. I would highly recommend him! His crewman Bradley is very attentive as well as the young man who helped him in the morning.. I think his name was Kanea.
