This person missed his original appointment. We rescheduled him for the next day. The Groupon promotion indicates that it's for a polishing. He received a polishing and upon checking his gum pockets and xrays, he needed a deep cleaning/ deep scaling. I showed him the tarter buildup on the xrays and and took a digital picture (not xray), to show him the amount of tartar buildup. He didn't need any other procedures, nor decay was detected. He asked to have his teeth scaled and I told him the difference between a deep scaling and a prophy (polishing). I also explained that the deep cleaning/scaling isn't included with the Groupon. He became irate and left by saying some expletives. There are four witnesses to who can corroborate what happened. Now he has people he knows leaving negative reviews on all different sites. He even has a person from Israel leaving a review. We have never had any of these people in our office as patients
