Key Boat Rental, Islamorada

They forgot about our reservation. We had to call them and wait for about an hour while a boat was delivered and cleaned. Other then that we liked the boat and our trip. I would suggest calling them in advanced to remind them about your reservation.

Dealing with this boat rental company has been a nightmare for me. I bought the boat rental coupon for a half-day rental. However, the main employee that processes all the payments is very incompetent. She charged my credit card for the full amount of the rental in addition to redeeming my Groupon. I spoke to her multiple times in attempts to get a refund, and she said she would give me a refund but it never went through. Every time I spoke to her on the phone she would also say that she was confused, this is technically not her job, and she's been sick with multiple issues for a while and should not be working with her conditions. She was also the only contact number I had and I was not able to speak to any other employees. I know this is a small business, but there needs to be ready, competent staff to take care of customer service issues. Now she refuses to put any effort towards my refund. The boat ride was okay, but I was charged a lot more than anticipated and had to deal multiple times with an incompetent employee that needed the same situation she was tied to re-explained to her multiple times. Still waiting for my refund...

Excellent customer service and experience!!!

Difficult to find the location of the place due to the wrong location shown in Google Maps; however, once we found it, the guy was really friendly and informative. Had a great time with friends on the pontoon. Will definitely rent a pontoon from them again!
