Jasen Garguilo spent his childhood on the islands of Hawaii, or more accurately, in the waters surrounding it. When he was young his uncle would take him surfing every day, and if no waves were on the horizon, they'd fish, dive, or play on the beach, making the most of Hawaii's beautiful landscape and ocean views. In short, the best memories of his childhood lie somewhere between these waters and the beach.

As the creator and owner of Hangloose Maui Ocean Adventures, Jasen invites locals and tourists alike to make some of their own memories along the Maui shoreline. During their snorkel tour, Hangloose guides lead adventurers through reefs filled with colorful ocean wildlife, including the endangered green sea turtle. After everyone's wiped out from swimming and snorkeling, guides gather snorkelers for a snack break featuring skewers of locally grown pineapple. Depending on the season, Hangloose guests can see other incredible wildlife, including the majestic humpback whale during their winter whale watch tour.
