Better organization of vendors. There were empty tables in the tents and other vendors on the fringe we did not see until we were leaving. Ran out od some tastes being prepared offsite - too long to wait

I thought it would be wild mushrooms not mushrooms that are grown locally. It was very disappointing to see all the vendors and nothing about wild mushrooms.

Although the event says "mushroom festival" mushrooms were absent, there are many things can be done with mushrooms than just show them on display

The mushroom tasting ended too early and there were no times posted on the website or through the groupon description when the tasting would start and end. The food vendors practiced unsafe food handling practices (salad greens were not on ice and sitting in open sun). Most importantly, it was not clear that there were 2 separate festivals for wine and mushrooms. From the description on the website and groupon I understood that it was one festival not 2. To be charged another $40 for 2 people to enter a "wine festival" is outrageous in its own right. I will never recommend this festival to no one, not even my worst enemy.

Thought the wine and mushroom were together. Disappointed to find it was Seperate. Food tasting was missing samples and you should be able to taste them all for the "extra" money it cost. Very disappointed.

From Our Editors

The Pacific Northwest Mushroom Festival celebrates local fungi through food, talks, cooking demonstrations, and plenty of entertainment. On the cooking stage, chefs show visitors how to incorporate mushrooms into a variety of recipes, while the mushroom and wine event pairs mushroom hors d'oeuvres with tastes from local wineries. Elsewhere, local merchants showcase their mushroom-related wares to the music of live bands, almost none of whom have gills. To take a more active part in the festivities, visitors can express their love of mushrooms and phosphorescence during the Grow in the Dark 5K or get their fill of fungi during the Shroom Feast.
