Soul Surfing School, Laguna Beach

For over 12 years, Soul Surfing School has been educating Laguna Beach's youth about ocean safety. The school teaches kids ages 7–12 all about the coastline and surf conditions, and it lets children get out on the ocean on body boards, skim boards, and surfboards. Students will learn the ins-and-outs of surfing from seasoned pros, and will get the chance to compete in local match-ups. For those who prefer inland adventures to ocean spray, Soul Surfing's offshoot organization Soul Adventures leads hikes into California's natural areas.
