About Southern California Institute of Player Development

The Southern California Institute of Player Development helps aspiring golfers rouse up the gusto for collegiate- and professional-level play. Kehli Bowen, the head golf pro, develops swings with corrective advice culled from a decade of coaching experience; some of his pupils have earned college scholarships and national recognition on the junior circuit without selling their souls for a mystical Chi Chi Rodriguez golf hat.

Lessons encompass everything from the technical aspects of the game to course-management strategies to golf-based nutrition programs. In addition to physical training, SCIPD helps players harness impulsive emotions during heated matches and develop a mental commitment to the game.
