Ecco Nails & Spa, Lake Mary

I purchased this Groupon as a birthday gift for my sister friend and to have a day to spend with her since we don’t get to see each other often and we frequent the SPA as a tradition for celebrating just about any ocassion. I made the call to set the appointment and mentioned the Groupon. The person on the telephone acknowledge the Groupon and scheduled us without a problem. The day of the appointment, we took my niece with us so that we could spend time with her as well and enjoy our pedicure/manicure day together. Once at Ecco Nails & Spa, I proceeded to check in and presented the Groupon. The gentleman at the desk informed me that “we could only get the regular treatment because the Groupon had expired” I pointed to him the text in capital letters that read: “NEVER EXPIRES” The gentleman shrugged his shoulders and said that the Groupon had expired. Needless to say, I was embarrassed, my sister and my niece had come over from out of town, and we had driven a good distance for our “date at the Ecco Nails & Spa”. To not make my sister and niece feel uncomfortable, I decided to go ahead and get our services (including services for my niece which I paid separately). To sum it all up, the service was undesirable. The gentleman who did my sister’s manicure and pedicure took several phone calls, in addition to getting up to greet other customers who came in the door while doing my sister’s pedicure. He ended up asking another employee to help him do my sister’s manicure since he was taking so much time. The level of unprofessionalism was inexplicable. I was embarrassed for my sister and my niece (my sister’s daughter). It is the second incident that I have with Groupons involving SPAs. Consequently, I will not be purchasing any Groupon for SPA services. Sincerely, Lin

Was great service, better then I expected.

Very good

They were friendly and efficient, but there was way too much miscommunication for the services and making the appointments. My sister and I bought this Groupon to go together and they made it seem impossible to do so, or made me feel guilty in taking up their time.
