Cloud Music Foundation, Lakewood

Music is not only an expressive art form; it also can bring joy to anyone who hears it. But for underprivileged neighborhoods, the power of music is sometimes out of reach. Cloud Music Foundation seeks to remedy this by expanding music education to the hope and future of these communities—their children. Through the funds it raises from donors and in conjunction with other organizations, Cloud Music helps students ages 12–16 in underserved areas learn to play a stringed instrument, free of charge. As the leading program of its kind in Southern California, it's able to reach many children through its initiatives, helping them and their communities grow and become stronger.
