Service & food was excellent. We were there during a large party and because of the noise we were given free deserts. This really shows caring from the chef. a suggestion, we sat in the bar for half price HH appetizer , and then went to our table for dinner. It would have been nice to enjoy at our table instead of the bar area.

From Our Editors

Stationed in The Cosmopolitan hotel, Comme Ça enchants with a mixture of French bistro cuisine and neon modernist decor. Under the watch of founder David Myers and Executive Chef Brian Howard, the kitchen crafts a seasonal menu of French-inspired fare. Hors d'oeuvres including duck confit with pickled blueberry compote segue into dishes such as steak frites, steamed mussels, and Berkshire pork, which includes head, belly, and rack alongside a mustard-seed jus. Libations on the list of 18A cocktails—cheekily dubbed for the Prohibition amendment—include the citrusy Penicillin, which won Best Cocktail in Vegas Seven. Alternatively, patrons can browse the wine list curated by sommelier Bruno Bonnet.

Comme Ça won Restaurant of the Year in Desert Companion and garnered praise in the Las Vegas Review-Journal, in no small part because of the influence of Chef Myers, who carries hefty French culinary credentials. After working under his mentor, Charlie Trotter, Myers flew to Reims, France, to learn and work in Les Crayères, a restaurant marked by its three Michelin stars and secret American stripes. In Los Angeles, he opened Sona, which soon caught its own Michelin star, before moving on to Comme Ça in Las Vegas.

The sprawling space encompasses a lounge, a bar, and a dining area with dark wooden tables that opens up onto a patio. Across from the bar, patrons sink into plush U-shaped chairs or along a burgundy bench, admiring the carved mirrors and abstract art reminiscent of the flag on the dusty silver walls. A patio opens onto glimmering views of the Paris hotel's Eiffel Tower, stretching up in front of the Strip's palatial hotels. Its canopy offers protection from rain while casting crimson light over faces and long bench tables.

Las Vegas Restaurant Guide

Dining in Las Vegas is more than just eating. It’s an experience that’s just as much a part of the whole Vegas scene as gambling, nightlife and shopping. Las Vegas has practically every type of food to satisfy every type of diner.

Want a full buffet for breakfast, or simply a bowl of oatmeal with fresh fruit in the morning? How about a grilled veggie sandwich for lunch — done gourmet style with organic vegetables and imported olive oil — and an iced cappuccino on the side? Dinner tends to be more of an elaborate affair in Las Vegas. Hit one of the casinos for some gourmet Asian cuisine or maybe a pan-American fusion-type meal. The best thing about dining in Las Vegas is that the hotels and restaurants serve incredible, over-the-top dishes 24 hours a day!

Possibly one of the biggest pieces of news in Las Vegas dining recently has been Steve Wynn’s conversion to veganism. All of the restaurants in the Wynn and Encore hotels now have a separate vegan menu, including at Okada, a romantic eatery filled with waterfalls and gardens. Stop into Wazuzi at the Encore for their fresh-pressed watermelon juice. Delicious!

The Canyon Ranch Spa Cafe caters to the health-conscious crowd. Yes, there are some Vegas foodies who like to dine on freshly made, organic, good-for-you type of delectables. Try the tofu and spinach salad or the flatbread with pesto.

One  doesn't  have to dine at a hotel to eat fantastic Las Vegas food. Pura Vida Bakery and Bystro offers daily specials like waffles with fresh strawberries and walnuts, drizzled in cocao-loco. Go Raw Cafe, with two locations, serves up salads, enchiladas, a rawburger and tasty juices. At the Fashion Show Mall, sit down for lunch at Red Velvet Cafe for a spinach and artichoke panini and a matcha latte.

Vegas caters to every dining whim!
