With its delicate balance of brick, wrought iron accents, and reclaimed wood, Grape Vine Café (formerly Grape Street Café) feels like a spacious wine cellar in an Italian villa. Shelves stocked with bottles of wine creep up the bistro's exposed brick walls, and at night, candlelight spills across the rustic, intimate space.

Grape Vine's decor is undeniably easy on the eyes, but it faces stiff competition from the artfully assembled dishes. California-inspired cuisine characterizes much of the menu, but pops of Italian and Mediterranean add a little international flair. The spread includes pastas, tapas, pizzas, and sandwiches such as a salmon burger with dill scallion sauce and a grilled cheese with chevre, prosciutto, and fresh basil.
