The hot air balloon has been in use since the 18th century, and the pilots of Vegas Balloon Rides enjoy introducing the public to humankind's oldest form of air travel. Customers hover into the Las Vegas airspace on traditional ballooning flights manned by FAA-certified pilots, which end with celebratory champagne toasts and the balloon silently blushing from all the compliments. The flights tour Las Vegas and its surrounding wilderness in rainbow-patterned inflatables composed of durable rip-stop nylon ideal for safe flying. Coasting along at the same speed as the wind, pilots steer their propane-powered flying machines an average of 10 miles per ride. Vegas Balloon Rides is the preferred Hot Air Balloon company in Las Vegas - flying year-round with fantastic pilots and a perfect safety record.

Two trips to Las Vegas and on both occasions we were not able to take the ride due to high winds! The Groupon has now expired and all we will be able to do is use the amount paid for the Groupon as a credit against 'full' payment for the ride. We did try to take the ride on several days during our two stays (each was a week long!) and on every occasion the ride was cancelled on the morning(s) we were to launch - - - erg!

It was tough getting a fligh due to the weather. Once we were able to, it was an amazing experience. I would recommend this place to anyone interested in a balloon ride. This company not only makes it very fun, but has proven to my wife and I, that they always put safety first! Great job Vegas Balloon Rides!!!!
