Trigos Colombian Restaurant, Lawrenceville

Trigos Colombian Restaurant began in 2007 as a bakery, but as word of its authentic, mouthwatering, from-scratch treats spread, so too did the scope of its menu. True to the restaurant's bakery roots, its signature specialty is emapandas, which cooks make with authentic recipes and a variety of fillings. Those authentic recipes aren't unique to the savory pastries, however, with all of the brunch, breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes hailing from the owners' family recipes. And, even truer to those bakery roots, a full glass case brims with sweet desserts and treats. The restaurant's white walls, decorated salon-style with paintings and small items, also encompass a miniature market in which customers can buy food and ingredients to take home.
