When I first walked into the restaurant, it smelled of stale beer and smoke. I would recommend trying to eliminate these odors for first impressions sake. I realize this place has been a bar for many years and that smoking is no longer allowed indoors, however I think the odors are so embedded in the carpeting, curtains etc. that it could turn first time patrons away. I loved the food and am glad we stayed, but would really like to see some updates.
