Since 1973, Steak Loft's grills have been firing up certified angus steaks, ribs, and thick-cut chops. Chefs sear those tender meats to each diner's liking, then serve up plates with a choice of potato and grant patrons a trip to the salad bar. Fresh seafood is another specialty at the rustically-refined restaurant, which is set inside a replica of a farmhouse. Signature crab cakes make an ideal starter, as do baked Stonington sea scallops, stuffed with a mixture of shrimp, scallops, crab, and crackers. And between bites of Delmonico steak or baked New England cod, diners can imbibe wine and cocktails, or drink in the live entertainment that keeps the atmosphere jovial.
