After years of tinkering with engines as an auto technician, Alec Drown turned to tinkering with the recipe for a perfect burger. He now helms Mackenzie's Pub, where chefs grill specialty burgers made with Angus beef. The menu includes the Double Bacon—with bacon cooked right into the patty—and the Fire, topped with a spicy trio of jalapeños, pepper jack, and jalapeño ranch. Diners parked on the patio or in front of the sports bar's 12 TVs can pair their beefy meals with 20 draft beers.
