TrappedKC, Lee's Summit

Everyone possesses some logic, reasoning, and math skills. Whether they're able to tap into them under pressure, however, is another question entirely. TrappedKC puts players to the test in heart-pumping, escape-room scenarios, leaving them only with their wits to get out in under 60 minutes. Read on to find out if you have what it takes:

• Treasure Island: On a high-seas adventure, you realize that you're the only loyal crew member in the midst of an uprising. You must warn the captain and get to the treasure before the mutineers, or face the possibilities of being marooned or locked away in the brig.

• Bomb Squad: Disaster strikes during a trip to the bank—there's a bomb in the building, and all the exits have been sealed. It's up to you to find and disable an explosive (you actually have to cut the right wire to disable the bomb!).

• The Neighbor: Your next-door neighbor seems nice. Perhaps... too nice. There's something a bit off about how just completely perfect he seems, and you don't think you'll be able to rest until you find out what he's up to. Best played with teams of 6 to 8 people, this room involves abstract thinking and thinking outside the box to get you to the end.
