Wonderful hike to an overlook view at Bears Den and learn about Appalachian trail followed by delicious food and wine tasting. Warm mulled wine for purchase was an added bonus.

Great host. She made us feel at ease on the hiking trail and gave us plenty of time to catch up with the group. The view at the winery is beautiful. The meat served at lunch could be warmed for enjoyment with the wine. Will recommend to others who are not very serious hikers like us.

Very lovely and informative hosts!! The hike itself was nice and scenic without being too long or intense. The wine and food provided afterwards were a lovely end to the tour!

It was a great hike, winery, and host... The only thing I would recommend is that the host makes sure everyone is aware of the hike details (miles and how steep it can be)... she stated about 2 miles, but never stated there would be a lot of rocks and steep hills.

Marcia, the leader does a great job getting folks out and active. It’s comforting going through the trail with an expert. I enjoyed the wine reward at the end!

Our guide Marcia was very knowledgeable. The views were lovely. The food and wine were pretty good. My only complaint is that parking at Twin Oaks Tavern and Winery is extremely difficult. Twin Oaks needs to improve this if they want more traffic to come.

The hike was great and the leader quite gracious.
