KC Art Angels, Lenexa

KC Art Angels is a place where creativity meets compassion. Using the proceeds from classes given to members of the general public, they provide free or reduced-cost one-on-one sessions for individuals with mental and/or physical disabilities, providing them with a new outlet through which they can express themselves.

Read on to learn more about the classes:

• Wine & Paint: No artistic experience is required for these fun, informative sessions, which invite you to paint your own masterpiece while sipping your favorite wine.

• Bisque & Babes: Team up with your child to bring bisque figurines to life with paint, glitter, and other supplies.

• Pinch Pot Potters: The first half of this two-session class allows you to create a pottery piece, and when you return for the second class, you can decorate the finished product.

• Wrap Party: Bring your Christmas gifts and learn how to wrap them in style using all the paper, glitter, and glitz you need.

• Additional Offerings: Beginner Ceramics, Wine and Unwind Jewelry Making, home-school sessions, private classes, unstructured adult art playtime, and mixed-media workshops for kids.
