- Signature Hole: The par 4, 450-yard #2 features a gentle dog leg to the right, which demands a long and accurate tee shot. Even then, a large pond guards the green, meaning there are plenty of ways for this hole to cut into your score early in a round.

Most of the fairways were in beautiful shape. Because they have had so much rain, some of the fairways were "crusty" - areas that had no grass. Beautiful layout of a course.

I redeemed my voucher in mid-August. The course was in terrible conditions due to recent rains, but they scheduled play anyway. Hickory Valley also moved tee times from their other course in front of scheduled foursomes which made for a miserable 5-1/2 afternoon. I will not go back

Staff is very nice; course in very good shape....only negative was making the mistake of going out as a 2some on a sunday morning - we waited 6-7 minutes on every hole. I wish they had set us up w/ another twosome or suggest we go out later.
