Meditation, dance, and cardio boot-camp classes all make up the fitness curriculum at Studio Nia Lincoln, which creates exercise opportunities that target a wide range of goals and skill levels. The studio’s signature Nia classes engage students in full-body workouts that combine the best aspects of dance fitness, martial arts, and the healing power of yoga. In barefoot toning sessions, students stretch and sculpt muscles, finally free from the confines of socks and shoelaces. Yoga and meditation increase body awareness through mindful breathing, and the studio even features kids’ yoga sessions, where younger yogis learn creative movements and meditation set to an age-appropriate soundtrack.
