About Shear Excellence Barber and Beauty Salon

Ken “Hollywood” Berry earned his nickname without working on a single film. Instead, the head barber at The Natural MoJo Hair Spa got his moniker by trimming celebrities’ hair. As the former personal barber and basketball shaver for the LA Lakers, he has styled Kobe Bryant and other NBA stars; he’s even cut the hair of hip-hop legend Nas. At his barbershop and salon, which specializes in natural styles for African-American hair, Berry and his team work with both men and women. For the latter, they can create locs, bantu knots, braids, and curls.

I did finally have my service done but I think that the owner is unprofessional and I felt she has been trying to avoid honoring the groupons.

Although I had a difficult time locating Mojo, it was well worth the visit. My usually unruly hair was soft and healthy when I left. Will definitely return.
