GoodTurn Cycles, Littleton

The folks at the non-profit GoodTurn Cycles have two missions. The first is to make cycling accessible to everyone with their electric ebikes, which use an electronic motor that makes it easier to tackle hills and inclines. The bikes—which reach top speeds of 20 miles per hour—are a great way to see the Denver area, especially on one of GoodTurn's cycling tours, which take riders to locations such as Red Rock's Amphitheater and Waterton Canyon.

But the company's second mission may be its more important one. Thanks to its apprenticeship program, at-risk youth receive job training in bicycle mechanics, retail, and customer service that will give them the skills they need to gain employment in the future.
