The buff and coat is a little facelift for your floors. I have used functional floors for both buff and coat and hardwood installation previously as well, and am happy with their work.

Poor customer service. Would not even come look at the floor. Now fighting with Groupon to get American Express credit since we were refused service

The work they did was very nice, however... be careful before you sign as they default responsibility to the consumer as soon as they get their signature. When my wife picked out her stain color explaining to the guy several times the need to match the other flooring in the house they (for whatever reason but most likely whatever stain was left in the truck from the last job) only gave my wife choices that did NOT match the other flooring. When Chris the manager was talked to about how the floors did not match and how my wife was deferring the expertise to the guys as to how the stain would look when it was on the wood the response was, "I wish your wife wouldn't have signed so soon and shopped around." This also means we had to pay double for them to do the job right although after coaxing they did give a discount on the second staining/sanding. It is this attitude that buys them 3 stars, though. So, trying to be fair, business and ethics, 3 stars but I would rate their work higher.

Arrived on time and quickly buffed and put polyurethane on the wood floor. It looks great!
