Founder Jean Franco fell in love with Salsa dancing after taking his first dance class at the ripe young age of 18. Since then he has become a veteran dancer and choreographer, opening his own studio—Salsa In Queens—as a way to expand his love of dance to the Astoria community.

In spacious, mirrored rooms, dancers of all experience levels gather together to find their rhythm through Hip-Hop, Salsa, and Bachata classes led by passionate instructors. Monthly socials offer a chance to students to practice their moves and develop their skills, making new friends along the way.

They are so great! Smaller and intimate but such a nice and clean space. Also, the instructors have a mic so it’s easy to hear them and they are great. The front desk was friendly and informative. They have bachata, reggaeton, and salsa classes.

The lessons are great with high energy instructor. The environment is also nice. I should not buy the deal of 5 classes for only same introductory class ???. The deal is not realistic. Better to offer introductory and beginner cycle.

I bought this Groupon after going to the free salsa class at Sek’end Sun who was done by Salsa in Queens. I was a little nervous going in for the first class because I had no prior experience ( aside from trying salsa at Sek’end Sun) but the class broke everything down to a basic level and the instructor was patient and engaging. I look forward to attending more classes!
