About Body Rock Dance Space

What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? Body Rock Dance Space is Cowlitz County's FIRST drop-in dance studio for adults 18 and older. Offering classes in Bombshell Burlesque, Hip Hop, Hell on Heels, Beachbody Cize Live, and BUTI Yoga, there is a class for everyone. Ex studio dancer? Need to find your mojo? Have zero experience but love to dance? This is for everyone! Body Rock's drop-in style classes allow you attend when it fits into your schedule! No contracts, no makeup classes, no recitals, no costumes... just dance, and just for YOU!

What was the inspiration to start or run this business? After returning to Longview from NYC and Portland, it became immediately obvious that Longview was missing a place for adults to come dance! Cue Body Rock Dance Space. We're now in our 2nd year and are pumped to keep sharing this creative and empowering outlet with the community!

What do you love most about your job? There is so much to love! The people, the movement, the music, the PASSION. But mostly, the sense of empowerment that radiates off of each dancer at the end of each class. Come see what we mean!

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer? I am always taken aback when it just "clicks" for a dancer. You see the energy, the life, the spark that manifests when someone really leaves it all on the dance floor. Favorite reactions to date have been laughter, high fives, tears, and thunderous applause in support of each other. We're more than a dance studio, we're a community of support for any and all dancers!

Awesome! Even without dance experience we always have a great time. They change the dance every few weeks to keep it fresh.

Very comfortable and easy-going atmosphere. I've only had Amelia as a teacher, but she's incredibly friendly and welcoming. The classes are a good fun workout, and the dance space is easily accessable via public transit.

Step out of your comfort zone and explore the classes here! They are super fun and the people that come here were very accepting and welcoming even though we had NO dance experience! Classes are really for ALL levels and we had fun stepping out of our usual routine, we even had a few good laughs! Try it!
