Birria On Broadway, Los Angeles

This small, storefront restaurant in the South Los Angeles area may well serve up some of the best birria in the city. The birria is offered in a variety of dishes--including: tacos, tortas, quesadillas, mulitas and as a plate, with rice and beans. Additionally, I ordered the consomme--a stupendously delicious broth, rich in flavor, and studded with pieces of birria to add to the flavor. Everything that I tried at this restaurant was delicious, including the rice and beans; but, unquestionably, the star of the show is the birria! And, Freddy, the proprietor of this establishment is very friendly and personable, and he goes out of his way to ensure a very high degree of customer satisfaction. I cannot praise this business enough!
