Having shot over 600 actors, Charles Maceo Photography has become a favorite amongst talent, agents, and managers. His attention to detail and knowledge of the acting industry gives clients the assurance of walking away with marketable headshots that capture the eyes of industry decision makers.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I realized I had a gift for telling stories, capturing emotion, and conveying truth through my images - especially images of people. The idea of taking dynamic photos for client's professional and personal needs was thrilling to me. Therefore, I began the journey of capturing people as a business.

What do you love most about your job?
I love not just providing high quality photos but providing a high quality shoot experience while doing so. Taking photos can be daunting and a bit nerve racking. But when clients walk away with feeling like they had a sense of connection and comfort with me, that gives me a great sense of pride.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
Countless SAG-franchised agents and top managers call me raving about their client's new shots. They thank me for taking "marketable" images and know so due to increased auditions and booked gigs by clients. In addition, actors constantly tell me how fun, easy-going, and intentional my shoots are.
