About Foodie Con
Comic-book lovers have Comic-Con, food lovers have Foodie Con. The convention draws gourmands to Los Angeles for a weekend of indulgences. Attendees wander around the trade show, where they can shop, chat with vendors and sample their wares, watch cooking demos, product and food talks, and dig into bits from local food vendors and food truck trucks. Pours from craft breweries, wineries and distilleries wash away all the food.

A cool, quaint event. Not too big and not too small. Good products and vendors with good coupons/discounts for stores like Whole Foods and Sprouts.

There are very little vendors and samples. Most people were in and out in 45 minutes.

This event was not as large as i was hoping- there appeared to be open space where other vendors could have been... The alcohol tasting were separated off, instead of being mixed in with the rest of the vendors- what were the wrist bands for then? There did not even appear for the option of purchasing a separate tasting if something was intriguing..
I dis not love this event but i did not hate it either... I was excited by the potential
