Glee Summer Camp, Los Angeles

A few weeks at a performing-arts summer camp could urge children on their way to confidence in public speaking, creative thinking, and a lead role in the school play. At Glee Summer Camp, children are equipped with the skills needed to hop on this track. Kids aged 7–17 gather at a few locations in the Los Angeles area for three weeks, learning dance steps, pop-rock singing techniques, and how to avoid chewing the scenery during acting lessons. They're overseen by award-winning professionals: artistic director and choreographer Cassandra Daurden and musical director, composer, and pianist Paul Kwo. At the end of camp, students show off their skills for agents, casting directors, family and friends in a Glee-style Industry Showcase & performance accompanied by a live band. Afterward, they can shop their résumés around to industry insiders and practice their autographs.
